This piece started with a print of the fiddle player, done originally in the audience at the Palau de la Musica. I then added the acrylics and the ink drawing outside of the fiddle player.

Urk, painting
“Urk” is a port on the Ijsselmeer in the Netherlands. We visited it on our boat Viking in the summer of 2020.

Stare Miasto
An acrylic painting of a section of Warsaw, almost totally destroyed by the Nazis in the uprising of 1944 and beautifully rebuilt. In the area I left blank, on the painting’s left side, actually sits the restored castle, a blank here to symbolize the Nazi destruction of it during the uprising of 1944.
